It's been a while, but I figured that I'd show you what I've been working on in terms of the game. I've got good news and bad but it's nice to have an idea of what's been done.
In the next update, you'll be able to make custom games, where difficulties are replaced with parameters. They have variable prestige multipliers that will generally be under what you would have in the other difficulties, but this way you should be able to customize what it is that you want a campaign to be like. If anyone has any suggestions for parameters that they want, @ me in the suggestions within the Discord channel.
You can potentially create a super easy campaign, but that's going to net you a 0% prestige.
Hell if I know. The game finally runs at a rate where it pays for itself, so I can keep working on it in my free time. But at this point of time I have a lot of things to work on in terms of my career and whatnot. The game has shifted from venture to hobby, so I can only work on it in a hobbist attitude. That being said, it's not abandoned, I just need the motivation to work on it every once in a while (aka whenever something funny happens in the Discord).
Since I'm not too concerned about the time table of the game anymore, and it's generally just for fun, I think that it would be cool if there's more of a community feedback on the things that are added in the future- especially cosmetics. People are getting loads of gold from the tournament and they need stuff to spend it on!
People like The Engineer in the discord draw pictures (I love them, personally) that I can draw inspiration from. If you would like to design cosmetics that I may choose to implement at some point in the game, then feel free to put it in the art-but-potatoes channel. It's relaxing to create more art for the potatoes, so I may even stream my adaptations of your work in the discord channel! Here's a drawing of a potato french revolution from the engineer:
